Just Magnolia - Monthly Challenge
The first monthly challenge over at the Just Magnolia challenge blog is to alter a container.
I've altered a box that I found lying around, this is the view of the lid.
It's been covered with paper from Brenda Pinnick which has then been stamped with a crackle stamp using Versamark. I've then heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. The edges were inked with Tattered Rose distress ink.
The Tilda image has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic markers.
I've made the rose following a brilliant tutorial over at Maria's blog, it really is very easy to do and I think it's gorgeous! I've added some glossy accents.
The leaves have been cut on my Cricut using the Accent Essentials and Home Accents cartridges.
The gems are from my stash.
I've really enjoyed making this and I can't wait to make a lot more of these roses.
