The Sugar Bowl - challenge 12
Challenge #12 over at The Sugar Bowl is a wonderful sketch by Lia. As always you have to include another element which this time is "Blue and Green" and of course only use Sugar Nellie stamps.
I've use a Gorjuss Girl image called "A little birdie told me", this has been coloured with watercolour pencils and Whispers pens. I've distressed the edges with Peeled Paint distress ink. All the papers are from the Boxer collection by Basic Grey. The circle has been cut on my Cricut, I've used some Tim Holtz mini masks "Floret" to add the flourish with distress ink. I'm wondering whether the Cricut would cut through acetate? That would make it possible to create my own masks, I'll have to try it and report back. The flowers have all been punched out of spare paper and I've added a pearl. The lace is from my stash.
I've managed to borrow a decent camera until my new one arrives, hope I don't break this one too lol!

What a gorgeous card, those papers are great. I love the flower too
Stunning card Jen I love it.
You should beable to cut through acetate. If it won't do it on the highest thickness slowest speed then you might have to get the deep cut blade and housing but it should definately do it with that.

I think you should definitely give it a try at Midnight Madness Sketch, your cards have beautiful color, and not to mention up to $500 prize they are giving, each week's entry is one more chance at the pot.
