This is the sketch for this week's
Sketch Saturday Challenge.
I've had a really bad time with my sewing machine today but eventually I won and managed to get it to behave itself.
The image is Country Garden from the Home Grown range at Sugar Nellie, this has been coloured with Copic markers.
The papers are from Basic Grey and I've made the rose following this
tutorial.I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, thanks for looking.
btw.. no sewing machine was harmed in the making of this card lol! :)

You've made a great card Jennifer. I've been put off this sketch a bit - must be feeling wussy! - thought it was pretty tough, but well done you for conquering it!
Sheila :)

Jennifer this is a beauty, love your take on the sketch...it looks like patchwork with that beautiful stitching! Gorgeous card!
Beautiful card, love the stitching round the little patchwork bits. That rose is so beautiful.

I love your card. I wanted to try some stitching on my card but unfortunately when I got my sewing machine out the bit the cotton reel sits on is missing. I'm sure there is a way of using it with out but my poor little brain just couldn't cope with trying to work it out. So no stitching on cards for me :o(
What a beautiful card Jennifer,i love the image and colours.
